Description
How does a slipper orchid, native to Central and South America, get the name 'China Dragon'? Mystery. Like many orchids, this is a hybrid. Phragmipedium China Dragon, its parents p.grande & p. besseae. Greek to me. And Latin. Hedy asked me to post these beautiful exotic flowers, as she thought every ballerina would want these lovely slippers to admire.
