A bumble bee forages on a foxtail lily, eremurus robustus. Native to mountainous area in Central Asia, the stalks are 6-10 feet tall, and inflorescences up to 4 feet long containing up to 800 flowers. Photographed with high detail in a Pennsylvania garden in early June.
