Description
Photo of a Silvery Blue butterfly on a small daisy. These beautiful butterflies, which I rarely see, are tiny and quick, most often gone before I can aim and focus. This is my best shot of them yet. Their scientific name is glaucopsyche lygdamus, and like other butterflies around the world, seem to be moving around due to climactic changes. Was a treat to see and photograph this one! In an eastern Pennsylvania garden in June.
