Dear Anne, Carol, Donna, Lianne, Anand, Sharon, Nancy, thanks so much for your appreciation of this image! This butterfly wore me out! I usually get to take just a few shots of any butterfly. I've never taken so many shots of a single subject---there was an arrangement of maybe 3 phlox bushes in a section of the garden, and she kept flitting from one bush to the next, and back, with me following and squatting and kneeling, etc.for 45 minutes! 10:41-11:25! I finally called it quits, did get a few nice shots... : )
