Photo of the majestic Aloe Arborescens, native to south Africa, from 6 to 9 feet tall. Like its much smaller cousin, Aloe Vera, it has similar beneficial medicinal properties. It has also been used as corral fencing!

Beautiful capture, Byron! I have seen and used the aloe leaves or stems many times, but have never seen one in bloom before. Thanks for sharing this unique experience!

This is gorgeous Bryon! I have never seen the aloe blooming like this. I have a pic of a "flower" in my old photos I couldn't identify so I set it aside. It looks exactly like the top part of this. I'm going to have to take another look now.
