Description
Adult assassin bug, aka wheelbug, on coxcomb flower, Probably waiting for a live meal, these predators will kill and eat any kind of insect. The long 'beak' injects a highly toxic venom and at same time sucks the liquefied tissue. Its bite is said to be much more painful than wasp sting. But kind of cute, no?
